The PowerLite high-torque starter motor is of the pre-engaged reduction gear type with the solenoid contained in the main body. The main body comprises a steel-geared gearbox and solenoid with the high-speed motor mounted above or below depending on the application (so it does not foul anything).

As you will see in the picture, this is an excellent gear reduction starter, replated like new, CNC machined, and will look at home in a show car or a 'driver'. Our standard unit is a 1.2 hp starter. Optionally 1.9 hp units are available on special order.
